Fine Arts
The Don Bosco Prep Fine Arts Department introduces the technical skills and fundamentals of art. Incorporating art history, aesthetics, and art criticism, students develop an art vocabulary, form opinions, and learn to write about their artwork.
The concentration is designed to accommodate artists of all skill levels and foster a love of experimentation and revision. Students are exposed to a wide array of 2D and 3D media, styles, and techniques, allowing students to unleash their inner creativity in exciting, project-based learning.

Media Arts
Students with a passion for media learn the basics of TV and film production, including scripting, producing, filming, and editing. The media principles learned and hands-on experience provide an enormous head start for potential communications majors.
Professional experience is acquired by all Media Arts students, as they produce broadcast-quality coverage of Don Bosco events, including our high-profile sporting events. They also produce the school’s daily morning show as well as podcasts and photo projects.

Music Arts
The Don Bosco Prep Music Department is for those wishing to pursue professional-level training in the performing arts.
Designed to build skill, artistry, and music literacy at a high level of competency, students have opportunities to perform alongside distinguished musicians and faculty from major symphony orchestras, universities, and conservatories, as well as professional musicians from around the world.
