36 Acres for Learning,
Devotion, and Play

We’ve come a long way since Don Bosco Prep was founded in 1915. Everything about the campus today is state-of-the-art, from classrooms to activity centers and science labs. Nestled in a wooded area of Ramsey, New Jersey, the safe and easily navigated campus encompasses everything young men need for a well-rounded, holistic, and enriching experience. Our holistic focus helps make Don Bosco one of the best private high schools in NJ.

  • Immaculata Hall

    • Home to social studies and English classrooms, Immaculata Hall also houses one of our high school campus jewels, Sacred Heart Chapel. It’s also home to the new Kelly Family Wellness Center, nurse’s office, athletic training room, gym, and youth ministry offices.
  • DeSales Hall

    • If science is your focus, you’ll thoroughly appreciate the cutting-edge labs here! You’ll also attend math and English classes in this spacious hall. It also houses a modern theater/assembly hall, guidance, and administrative offices.
  • Savio Hall

    • Our newest campus addition, Savio Hall, is a state-of-the-art gem. Most students come here for world languages classes, but they’ll also find a thoroughly modern Business Pathway board room and an Engineering Pathway/Robotics lab. Perhaps most important, we have a glazed, double-height dining hall to satisfy the nutritional cravings of every Ironman!
  • St. John’s Hall

    • The original school and boarding building when Don Bosco Prep was founded in 1915, St. John’s Hall is now home to the Mary Help of Christians Chapel, affectionately referred to as the Sistine Chapel of the East, and serves as headquarters for our band, theology, computer science, art, theology, and advancement programs. It is also home to our Salesians.
  • Athletic Complex

    • If you love NJ high school sports, you’ll love Granatell Stadium, a 5000-seat outdoor arena that has hosted Ironmen memories since it was built in 1972. Reconstructed and modernized in 2003, football, lacrosse and track teams are proud to call Granatell their home, while baseball and soccer teams compete across campus in equally modern athletic fields.
  • Common Areas Abound

    • The campus has multiple gathering spots. The Quad is conveniently located central to all four academic halls. Alumni Park, featuring the Alumni Walk of Fame, is adjacent to Granatell Stadium. And the Major Thomas Kennedy Memorial Park, dedicated to Ironmen who have been lost in service, includes a large, tranquil lake, the Grotto to our Lady of Lourdes. There are so many more hidden nuggets all over campus and we can’t wait for you to explore them.
