AP Scholar Program

Students who demonstrate college-level achievement through AP courses and exams are honored with these AP Scholar Awards:

  • AP Scholars with Distinction
    2024 – 6 Students

    This designation is granted to students who receive scores of 3.5 or higher (on a scale of 1-5) on five or more AP exams.

  • AP Scholars with Honor

    2024 – 4 Students

    • This designation is granted to students who receive scores of 3.25 or higher (on a scale of 1-5) on four or more AP exams.

  • AP Scholars

    2024 – 10 Students

    • This designation is granted to students who receive scores of 3.0 or higher (on a scale of 1-5) on three or more AP exams.

In addition to the academic accolades bestowed upon awarded students, the entire school community also benefits, because honor society members share their knowledge as peer tutors. Members are inducted yearly based on academic criteria.

Congratulations to Our Newest Salutatorian

These four years have been filled with so many experiences, and I thank everyone who helped to make them all possible. We have truly found a home, school, playground, and church in Don Bosco Prep.

Ryan McGovern, Don Bosco Class of 2023 Salutatorian

Ryan McGovern was introduced as Don Bosco Class of 2023 Salutatorian at commencement in June 2023.

Ryan is a member of the National Honor Society, the National Science Honor Society, the National English Society, the National Social Studies Honor Society, and the National Math Honor Society. He is president of the National Chinese Honor Society and has also served as Mission Club president. Ryan was also a four-year varsity crew athlete.

He is currently attending Northeastern University.
