HONORING OUR HEROES
On Saturday, our Veteran Affairs Club traveled to West Point to participate in Wreaths Across America. This program coordinates wreath-laying ceremonies at more than 1,600 locations across the United States, at sea and abroad. Our students not only toured West Point and learned a lot about the base, but also spent many hours helping to place wreaths on each and every grave in the cemetery. Afterwards, they were treated to a taco lunch hosted by the Oakley and Baskerville families, right on base. Thanks to Mr. Ferrier, Mrs.Gettler and everyone who helped make this special experience possible.
